8TH AUGUST // THURSDAY

HARI RAYA  

I'm not gonna lie, I was so happy when the fasting month ended. Probably cause I felt so unhealthy of all the uncontrolled eating. Can't wait for tomorrow to come only then can I resume my slight eating cleanse. 

This raya was probably one of the most unprepared year ever. We never bought any clothes, shoes, anything raya related for our home. Not even any kuehs. I only decided on what to wear the night before & I found some outfit my mum bought from indonesia. 

I decided to dress a little strangely, complete with pigtails and geek-ish glasses. I think nobody could take me seriously in my get-up at the other house (we only went to one house). Probably why I still got money packets...

 The only thing I was excited about was my new eyeliner, lipstick & glasses!

We came back home like around 6 plus, cause I ended up sleeping on the sofa. & my brother didn't come cause he was working also known as my sleeping sidekick on raya. 

If raya is gonna be like this for the rest of the years, I don't know if I want to be part of it anymore.

But then again, at least I have somewhere to go. 

10TH AUGUST // SATURDAY

DAY 3 OF RAYA

So I originally didn't want to come along, but then there were people staying over at my place & it'd be awkward if I stayed home. So, I went along. Well that day wasn't so bad. Though we came home pretty late like around midnight.

Okay that's all for that day. 

I am currently awaiting for my guests to arrive. I'm having like a mini-open house since my grandpa is in Singapore.
