Family Open House!

17TH AUGUST // SATURDAY

HARI RAYA GATHERING

 So my aunt had an open house today at her place along with all of my cousins & relatives. We pretty much spent most of the time watching the Conjuring movie. Lol, I felt like a total coward seeing my younger nieces and nephews being totally indifferent to the thriller movie. Like it was no big deal to them. 

Just for the record, I used to love watching horror movies. I don't know what changed, but I guess as I was growing up, I realized I'm supposed to be scared. Or maybe it scared me. Became a coward eversince....

 I went with a dark lip today! I never wore this colour out before. So it was a nice change from my bright pinks, corals & reds.

Here's the thing, I planned on taking photos today. But somehow, I forgot & stopped right after I took the brownies photo. sigh, sucha fail. Which is why I'm so bad at biology. To think that I used to love it. Well at least before I went on to Sec 3/4 and took the pure one. My only regret was not dropping it to combined bio/chem instead I took phy/chem just cause majority took it. 

See children, learn from my mistake. Decide for yourself & don't necessarily follow everyone else.

In other news, I've been on break from my uss job for like almost 3 weeks now. I think I'm just tired of serving people. Well, actually I don't mind. It's just that the people I serve are from all over the word. Having a handful of them not being able to speak english, it gets a little frustrating sometimes when they demand me to speak their language. sigh, don't even get me started. No matter how rude some may be, in the customer service line, you just gotta suck it up and still be polite.

Though I think I might get back to work next week just cause I'm bored of doing nothing at home and also since nobody is free to go out with me. Everyone is so busy, I feel sad about it. I'm actually thinking of volunteering at the local community centre just to meet new people and maybe try to be more active in such community work. I think it'd be fun, plus I have too much free time.
