We finally got to our hotels in Genting Highlands.
Cause we frequently visit Genting and usually always stay in the First World Hotel, we decided to change up abit this time. We stayed in the lower part of Genting. Each time we wanted to go up to Genting, we'd have to take a bus from our place. Our place is a sort of resort.
The going up and down the mountain/s was definitely having a toll on me. By then, I had a box of tissue as my best friend and my ear pressures were going crazy popping on me. I felt like I wanna die each time I take the bus up or down. I would chew on some gum too. It gave me headaches.

this time round, I refused to sleep on the sofa. The window/gate that leads to the backyard was right beside the sofa. My imagination went wild a little bit.
The gate I was talking about. It was nice to have a backyard, I've always wanted to have one.
But I didn't want to sleep right beside one. It would be like a Pretty Little Liars kinda sequel.

we decided to go eat at Genting. Somehow we ended up taking the wrong bus that went to the Skyline.
So we took the cable car up. It was a really really long wait.
and here's genting, same old same old.

there's some renovation going on. So I guess something new is brewing. Plus, no more Gondola.
and of course, Famous amos cookies was my jam throughout the entire trip.

Told ma parents bout the Strawberry farm that I heard about at Genting.
I wanted to go check it out.
Turns out, they also have a mushroom farm and a flower farm too.

I can't remember how many days we stayed at Genting. Probably two days one night. That was more than enough.
check this out. Each time we walk to our room, we would pass this room with this thing on it.
It kinda creeped me out.
nothing much about Genting. But I would say that the weather in Genting is still the coldest out of all the cold places I went on this trip.

we got to Cameron highlands at night. That was my first time there.
There was nothing much for us to do at that time. So we went to eat after settling down for awhile.

by this point, I was just beyond tired and sick. and kinda delusional. The changing weather made me feel hot and cold. Otherwise known as fever. But I wasn't in bed or anything. Bed would make me feel worse.
We had a dinner buffet at the hotel restaurant. The place was kinda weird. Cause it was big, we had to call for a minivan to drive us to the main hotel lobby itself where the restaurant was located.
I didn't eat much that night. I was kinda sick of food also. Too much buffets.

Here's a story.
During one of the nights there, I think it was the first night , it just gave me some weird feeling. When I sleep at hotels, I usually like to leave the tv on, usually the cartoon channel that is really harmless. Cause I don't like the deadly silence when sleeping, thus the tv. As usual, I read my book and got to sleep when I felt tired. I probably slept around 12 plus or so. And suddenly, I woke up. And I hear the static noises from the tv. No more cartoons. I panicked and got scared. My eyes were wide open and I was kinda confused. Thankfully, somehow my mum was awake, she was using the toilet. She told me to sleep on the bed.
I did remember it being 6am when I woke up. I'd like to believe that I got woken up by the static noises from the tv.
end of story.
The next night, I didn't have the tv on. I slept with my ipod music on shuffle. No problem there.
29TH DECEMBER 2012
We actually planned to take a trekking in the forest or some tour package for that day. But we had too much time to spare.
wore this to breakfast. But then I got a little claustrophobic wearing it, so I took it off. I was wearing a long sleeved shirt underneath.
We finished breakfast at like 10 or so and the tour starts at 2pm or something.
so we decided to tour ourselves.
There was like a market down our hotel
there, you'll see plenty of these. I though it was cool.

we went to the KEA farm. Had to pay Rm 5 for entrance each. It was actually a pretty long walk from our place to there.
we climbed up and up. we thought it was the end, when we got here. but noooo, still a long way up.

we got back to the hotel. I plopped myself on the couch and read my book. And then I slept.
We didn't go on any tour that day.
we had our dinner in the hotel again. Minus the buffet. Just a regular meal.
that was our last night there. btw, I broke my boots on the way back down. Had to buy a pair of strawberry slippers from the market...

Heading back home to Singapore!

Took a minivan down to the main town where it's more city like. They had starbucks, marry brown and etc..
It took us 30 minutes to get down.

most of the stores had free wifi. They had the password on display everywhere. It was good to have communication with people while being on a mountain somewhere else
