TURKEY DAY 2

9TH DECEMBER // MONDAY
{ DAY 2 }
CANAKKALE PROVINCE, TURKEY

Yayy! I'm back! Sorry I kinda lied about the updating everyday on my previous post. But I've been busy with work and dealing with my jet-lagging at the same time. I don't know why I put myself through so much work just after coming back from a holiday. I should've taken a week off, sigh.  I went back to work on the second day I was back in Singapore which is pretty cray now that I think about it again. Though at least I feel like everyone at work welcomed me back really warmly, I was touched :')

But by Tuesday I felt so crappy waking up at 11am. I was so depressed and tired, I wanted to cry. But I did go to work that day, cause I felt bad for missing two days of work for the previous week. And I managed to go to work the next day and the day after though I was 2 hours and 30 minutes late on both days respectively. ahh, but I think I deserve the reason to be late.

enough of my work blabberings, I'm definitely looking forward to my 2014 cause I gave myself 2 weeks off from work. Yesssa! I will have time for myself.
(and also time for a new job. mehehehe. will update)

okay back to Turkey talk.

So we departed from our hotel, Iris Hotel at 8am.

1. Ancient City Of Troy
Visited the ancient city during the Trojan War times.

I somehow remembered the tour guide saying this was the place where animals were sacrificed.
I guess it kinda disturbed me.

and when everyone else is too busy with their own photos, I take my own photos.
This place is popular for the wooden horse
My mum and I got into the horse. It was a really steep and narrow staircase.

2. Ancient Roman City Of Pergamon (Bergama, Izmir Province)
A site where the Romans used to rule.

my attempt at an eyesieee!
my momma

Pretty skies, pretty everything.

Then there were these cool tunnels

That is the sacred water fountain. Cause it's sacred, everyone decided to drink it. Including me.
My face after tasting the water, lol. It's umm...interesting flavour...
more tunnels!

Preparing for a jump shot!
Jumppp!

Nearby, there's like a mini village.

3. Artemis Tapinagi - Artemission Temple (Kusadasi)
We then went to this place where there were some old ruins.

4.  The Seven Sleepers (Kusadasi)
Hiked up the Seven Sleepers' mountain where it was said that back then, seven people hid there.
It was a rather unexpected hike & very steep. And I got to see how bad my stamina was, lol.

Would've been a better picture if that was me, hahhh. But that's my tour guide anyway.

After the mini hike, we drove to our next hotel.

Tatlises Hotel (4 stars)
The hotel was pretty spacious. We asked for an extra bed and of course the extra bed had to be in the living room where I slept alone. oh poor me.

Day 2 done! 9 more to go!
