DATE WITH THE GIRLS

LA MARELLE

So last week my girls and I decided to meet up and have lunch/dinner together. I had work till 2.30 that day and I remembered being really tired and not having any sleep.

Anyway, we decided to take a visit to this place called La Marelle. It is located along Arab Street. That lane where the Sultan Mosque is. Heard about how cool the place was & decided to check the place out and have dinner there.

Though after taking a look at the menu, we were like, hmm....

I actually think the prices were okay, but with our extra hungry stomachs, we were comparing prices with Nandos. & Nandos won our stomachs. We did actually end up getting a brownie since we felt bad for coming in and leaving with nothing. 

 I do like the interior of the place. It's different.

 Their homemade brownie. I'm gonna be honest. This was a little disappointing. It was a little dry and powdery in a brownie sense. Though eating with the ice-cream, it seems okay.

 We finally headed to Nandos! With Fatan there!

I have been working for the past 4 days or rather the past weeks or so, pretty diligently beating my own personal record. Didn't think I would have lasted the four days straight without having to call in sick on one of those days. But I made it! Work has been so so kind to me of late :')

I'm starting to appreciate my work again. I'm missing some colleagues and looking forward to some days to have shifts together. Of course there'd also still be some of those whom I'm not really keen into, though not many. okay, maybe just one.
