Salutation my friends, families and whomever are left still reading my blog. By now, you'd realize how irregular I've been updating. It's been months!
Oh & happy 2016! (a little too late lol)
Thought I would start by sharing my short trip to Langkawi last November!
Day 1 - 4 | 21 - 24th Nov 2015
Langkawi, Malaysia
Day 1
On the first day we arrived, we checked into our rooms & really like our room.
We were staying in Meritus Pelangi Beach Resort & Spa.

Anything that has a balcony earns brownie points from me :)
I love hanging on the balcony during my vacations.
Day 2
Mangrove Tour
On the second day, we woke up nice and early for a Mangrove tour that included sightseeing in a Bat's cave, seafood lunch and feeding monkeys.
I normally get sea sick on boats, but it felt too nice with the breeze in my face and lovely surroundings to be sick. It was kinda relaxing.
That's our lunch catch right there which you will see in just abit
In the bat's cave. I'm so bad at taking photos in low light, I apologize.
I love the following pictures from the boat's perspective. It's a lovely 'from where I stand' kind of photos.
Met some funny friends along the way too.
Day 3
Langkawi Cable Car
My parents wanted to take the cable car, so we did on our third day. We decided to take the express passes, cause otherwise we'd have to wait for a couple more hours for the next slot. I believe they're managing the crowd that goes up, which I think is pretty wise of them.
It was also my mum's birthday
We got a glass cable car! It was a nice change compared to the usual cable cars we'd always take.
We also had a mini hike up a waterfall. I can't remember exactly where, but it was pretty nice.
view from up the cable car viewing area
& a bridge!
That's the bridge that we walked across!
Day 4
On the last day, we decided to just chill & swim in the pool. I love swimming and hanging out under the sun.
On the previous post, I mentioned about some good news I'd like to share. I can't decide if I should do a separate post for this or not. Maybe I will.
But for now, to put off the suspense, I'll tell you guys now. Some close friends & family have probably already known about this. I wanted to make sure that everything's all settled down before I deliver any sort of news.
Okay here goes.
I'm going back to University!
As with any other commitment, I have to be more disciplined and focused. At least for the next four years. I may have basically just signed myself up to a 4 year ding-a-ling contract.
But we'll see how it goes.
This time, I'll make it to the finish line.
oh & another news I wanted to share, as of Monday 25th Jan, I ended my contract with SPH after 5 months of service. It's been a crazy yet wonderful journey to be working with some of the best people around.
As with every job, there will always be the worst part of the job, but I always like to keep all the bad memories as a part of my learning experience. I honestly don't mind the negative parts really. I believe that everyone needs some bad before any good comes.
& with that, I part my goodbyes with some and open up doors to the other phases in my life.
2016 will hopefully be an even greater year than the last.
