Hair change & Batam

21st April | Monday

So a few days after the stay cation, me & Dina decided to go dye our hair. & we did!

 Dina went for purple hair for the bottom half of her hair while I went for a full head red. I've been meaning to have red hair for awhile now. Though by now, it has faded quite abit. okay maybe a lot.

28th April | Saturday

Went on a trip to Batam on that week!

 I survived that ferry ride to & fro without feeling seasick. Lol, my seasickness just comes & go.

 At the Sekupang terminal in Batam. Right after reaching there, we had our tour. I never toured in Batam before, so this was a first.

 Much better! But I really find it weird when pictures shows the rod...

 After half a day of touring to places, mostly shops selling snacks, we finally settled at some seafood place for dinner. For the most part of the tour, I was mostly sleeping on the bus. I went out when I was awake, tried food testers, went back on the bus & slept. 

 I was also mostly exploring on my own & taking random pictures there.

 then we had some Kuda Kepang (not sure if I spelled it right) performance.

These performances still freaks me out a little. It's the music & the dance...

 and by nightime, we finally got to our hotel! For a $70 tour package, the hotel was pretty decent. Good even.

27th April | Sunday

Woke up early for breakfast. Best part about holidays is going for breakfast unshowered, no makeup & in pjs. Don't tell me you guys don't do that. But of course brushing the teeth & washing the face is a must.

 Mandatory photo on the bed! I don't know how them other girls look all nice and pretty taking selfies on beds. While I had to snap a ton for my double chin not to show. hmm...can.

end of trip!

Speaking of trips, I'm packing for another trip tonight. This time to KL! well, I wouldn't say I'm packing, I only took out the bag I'm carrying.

This week, I worked for 4 days! (That's a lot for me being a barista) I deserve this break! & I will go swimming and be well fed.

Also! I've officially worked at my Starbucks for 2 months! That's quite an accomplishment. I honestly didn't think I'd stay this long. I thought I would only last a week lol. Cheers to more friendships forged & experiences created!
