Catch ups & meet ups!

Hey guys! It's been a really really long time since I last did this. I forgot how much I missed recounting my days with pictures. Before I get into what's been going on in my life, can I just mention how last week started out really bad and ended pretty good.

Nothing's better than to hang out with awesome people on a Friday.

So last Friday, I got to hang out with these girls. We decided (or more like I pleaded lol) to have dinner at a cafe. I love checking out new cafes even when sometimes the food aren't always that great and not to mention the price, I don't know, I still find it exciting. 

Meet my secondary school classmate, Jasmine! It's literally been years since I last saw her & I'm so glad I did. Such a funny personality!

 Can I just mention that these are the best truffle fries ever! Though technically this is my first time trying out truffle fries, so I'm being a little biased here.

 Syahirah got an eggplant sandwich which I don't think tastes that great. 

 Jasmine got a beef lasagne which was not bad while I got a carbonara. Mine was not bad as well. 

Overall, I'd say the food is okay. Not so great or worth the rave, though I still might come back for the brunch.

& it was a really good day :)

Met my uss colleagues & went to the Amped Trampoline Park at Jurong. I usually go to the one at Paya Lebar, so this was my first time at the newer branch.

 Such a fun group of people to hang out with! & maximus is soo adorable. lol and very hyperactive.

Sweaty faces after an hour of jumping! I braved myself for a backflip, but I couldn't do it. I tried & I hit my nose with my thighs & dang it hurt. I'm covered in bruises now. Well, at least I could front roll now, lol. 

After jumping we met up with Wan Fen & Ying Bin to have dinner!

I finally tried the highly raved about Royal Pudding! It's just okay. I mean it's nice but it didn't impress me that much to rave about it. 

Well anyway it was a great day & overall a great weekend to end my shitty week :')

Okay, so here's what's new in my life. I got a job as a barista at Starbucks, dyed my hair, cut my hair, applied for a bachelor's degree in uni. I know it probably doesn't say much but I feel like I've been through a whole lot more than that sentence itself. Also, being a barista is a lot harder than I thought & I realized that maybe I got a haircut probably cause I was feeling a little stressed out with this new job. And at the same time, I was still working at my other workplace during the weekends which pretty much tire me out.

& then I had my future plan to think about which had been haunting & lingering at the back of my mind for months everyday. I didn't know what I wanted to do. To be honest, I still don't know now. But one thing's for sure, I know I'm not ready to commit into a full-time job & I didn't want to juggle part-time jobs and do nothing. It was only yesterday that I finally made up my mind to continue studying. I'm not a 100% sure of the course that I chose but I think I might like it.

There you go. That's what I've been up to lately. 

 & speaking of which, I need to recap on the recipes for all the drinks. 

I have such a poor memory. And I probably make a not so great barista. I wonder how long I'll last.
