CARRIE ACADEMY MAKEUP COURSE

{ DAY 1 }

So here I am finally updating. I've been so excited for the past week for this day. This course that I signed up for is a 3-day Makeup course fully sponsored by Bourjois & WDA where I get a chance to learn more about design & applying makeup. I guess I somewhat know the basic to makeup but I do want to know what Bourjois has to offer.

So thankful to have signed up for this. 

Here's some of the perks:

1. Graduate with a WSQ Certificate upon completing the 3-days
2. With a WSQ Certificate I'm eligible to sign up for beauty/makeup competitions
3. Be a able to work as a makeup artist on a Part-Time Placement Program. What this basically mean is that when there's shows or events & they're in need of makeup artists, we'd be there. Though I'm not still sure how it works.

I'd say all this is a pretty good bargain one could ever ask for.

So today I went on a solo quest to my training location. Surprised I even found my way there with my poor gps skills.

The place was actually right beside the JUUP NAILS store to the left. Or maybe 2 stores down...? I can't remember.

I was actually expecting a little more..but this is good enough for something fully sponsored.

The classroom. The other students were mainly adults with only 2 more teens in the class. 

oh, & meet Shila! She's my buddy beside me & the only malay there. Nice to have someone, I thought I was gonna be a loner. Though I didn't mind being alone..

Took some shots outside since we had some time left before lunch break was over. such a life to not be able to eat. sigh.

 Okay, so overall, I thought the program for today was pretty basic. It was interesting in the beginning. But I began to fall asleep midway. Blame it on the no sleep last night. I feel bad, but I was soo tired. Still am.

Today was mainly briefing on theory stuff. Stuff most people would already know. Like eyebrow, face shape, eye shape...all that stuff. Lolol I think I was the only one in the semi-dead state. Though I revived a couple of times. I can't do all these long talks. Thank god tomorrow & Sunday we're starting on practical! So excited!
