14TH MARCH
THURSDAY
So results got released today. Kinda already knew how my results would be like, so there's nothing much I could do. Anywho, this didn't stop me from wanting to watch Warm Bodies!
I wanted to watch the movie so bad, that I still would've gone even if it meant watching alone.
That's cause I read the book! So I wanted to compare my imagination and the realtime movie.
Overall, I really do like the movie. Of course, the downside of reading the book before a movie is that you won't exactly appreciate the movie fully as it is. Your mind would be busy comparing the book and the movie. Cause I sure did. In this movie, they actually cut out alot of stuff. It wouldn't be much of a spoiler if I mentioned the stuff they missed out.
So, I'm going to do a little rant on the stuff they skipped.
- R was supposed to be 'married' with a zombie wife and adopted zombie children
- The first time the boneys found out about them, they weren't supposed to attack. They were to show polaroids of what humans did to zombies; just a warning.
- Julie was supposed to have stolen the polaroid camera from the boneys
- The human shelter area should've been a stadium
- R was supposed to have a tour around the 'stadium' where Julie would lead him to her mum's grave
- They missed out a character, Julie's uncle (more understanding than the father)
- R only became human when he kissed Julie
- Julie's dad was supposed to be eaten by a boney in the end
I could go on & on about all the stuff they missed out, but I'm gonna stop.
NEXT movie to look forward to, THE HOST!!! Ohmagawhhh, this one, I am really really extremely excited to watch!!
The first time I read it was 4 years ago. & I remember how I would die if this came out in the movies.
HAHAHA, & I also remember being the 'book loaner' for the twilight series and this book among my classmates, cause I own all her books. Passed the books friend upon friend upon cousins. It was cute. I felt like the headmaster of all the stories because I knew everything from the tip of my fingers.
So 29th March, you'd know what I'll be busy with.
Okay, goodnight!
