2012 Timeline

This is gonna be super long and it would probably take me till night to finish this and to find all the photos, but I really want to do this. And by the time anyone see this, it probably would have already been 2013.

So here goes.

This is gonna be some of the events that stood out for me throughout 2012, be it good, bad, happy or sad.

2012 TIMELINE

JANUARY

31st December/1st January
I spent my new year's eve at the airport with the parents.
Coincidentally, for this new year's eve, we did the same thing. Just came back home from airport btw. Hah!

2nd January
The release of my second Fast Forward video with the cousins at the airport!
We obviously love hanging out at the airport. This was also during the Christmas gift xchange day.

16th January
went to my first concert/gig ever! who knew that would be the beginning to the many concerts ahead I went to after that.
It was Aj Rafael & Band, along with Krissy and Ericka!

FEBRUARY

4th Of February
Uploaded the Hangover video that my cousins and I did at the hospital.
That was the period when everyone was kinda stressed out.
This was a stress relief.

18th Of February
My grandmother left the world.
I have never lost anyone before, so that was my first time going through it. So raw and awfully painful. That period was probably one of the most lowest points of my living life. The saddest part of it all was not being able to see her at least wake up from her coma phase after the surgery. The last thing she said to me before entering for the surgery was to study hard. Everything else was a blur.

I actually felt hopeful at one point you know, thinking that maybe she would wake up and be well and we could all have a huge buffet together. But that never got to happen.
I remember that day when my dad broke the news to me. My family and I actually just got back home from the hospital. I was too in shock to react to anything.

School was just so.....I don't even know what to say. I guess at that point of time all I could think of was to try to study hard, heeding her advice. So I went to lectures, did my work, even if it meant being alone, I did it. I stopped hanging out with people and caring about what everyone else thought about me. Even smiling or laughing at jokes were too hard for me. It was selfish but I needed the space. I did a lot of thinking. I guess it was blessing that I had my holidays for most of the time after that. I healed in time before the new semester began.

I'm sorry this is beginning to sound really sad and sappy but I wanted to let it out. I can never say this verbally so please never ask me. You'd be doing me a huge favour and for that, I thank you. Thus, I'm saying it in the form of words and texts.

MARCH

22nd March
I had my first official job ever! Even though it was only for 2 weeks excluding trainings, I'm really thankful for the experience. I met a lot of new people and learnt a lot of new things.

5th May
Went for my 2nd concert in my life.
And that, I met quite a number of people too! Went with 6 other random people!

Outing with the cousins! Always love going out with them! We always have our outings planned out and things just go right.

JULY

14th July
My donkey does my makeup official video!
A video my friends and I did, doing makeup on each other. I am actually quite embarrassed of myself here. Such a tard.

15th July

Well hey surprise surprise, 3rd concert for the year!

This, I got for free thanks to Hanan and his connections!

I was there just cause Boys Like Girls and 4 Minute were there. Even though I wasn't huge fans, still I wanted to just take a look. I mean why not if its free?

28th July

I saw Michelle Phan. Went with 3 other of my friends.

9th August

Took the Singapore Flyer for the first time on national day for free!

SEPTEMBER

8th September
Went to the Universal Studios with the cousins for the first time!
And that was also the day I fell in love with Far Far Away, which is now where I work. How ironic.

Did a vlog-ish video! One of my favourites!

21st September

That day was really interesting. I actually love that day!

For the first half of the day, I went for a job interview with Fatan and Dina. We went for the USS job interview which I am now a happy part-time crew working there!

After that we hung around bugis and there happened to be an autograph session with The Scripts.

For the other half of the day, I spent it with my cousins. Missed our ride home, overnight in the airport.

OCTOBER

13th October

Impromptu outing with the girls to the Panda Rockout event! We got to see Cher Lloyd and a couple others perform!

15th October

First stable part-time job I ever have and still having. This date was the date that I started the trainings and all. Like the basic introductions. The one in the picture was my official first day of work.

 4th concert of the year! Jonas Brothers concert! weeehooo!

Halloween with the girls after work! First time we did something halloween-ish!

Planning to go to the USS haunted houses together with the guys next year!

DECEMBER

I have no pictures of them cause I've not updated about it here yet!

My december highlight would be the 9 days trip around Malaysia which I just went through and came back yesterday morning.

I know the posts got shorter and shorter but its like 5am. Forcing myself to finish this up otherwise I won't be on schedule. & I don't really wanna sleep but I have to. I have a new year's high tea buffet with the family tomorrow. so yeahhh

I will update this portion after I update about my Malaysia trip!
