Nerdamble : The Maze Runner

Recently I visited the library and I got myself this book. I just thought I'd have a slight change in the genre of books I pick. It's still fiction, of course everything is, but the concept of the storyline is really amazing. It is totally out of the box, not something I would have came up with even in a million years. And I completed the book in just a couple of days which is pretty fast compared to my usual reading period per book. oh, and I gave up on 'Thirst'.

Summary
This story is basically about a boy who found himself in a box, not remembering anything but his first name, Thomas. He and about 50 other kids were sent on this place called Glade. Society and order still works there but it is not exactly earth. In order to get out of this place, they need to solve the maze which was never solved for 2 years. In the maze lies deadly creatures like the grievers and beetle blades. They're part animal, part machine and a whole lot something else. Life for the gladers have been pretty monotonous and repetitive until Thomas came. He changed everything.

In a way, this book kinda reminds me a little of 'The Host'. That was an amazing book by the way, though it takes quite awhile to understand the whole situation.
This is a book definitely worth reading. I'm currently reading the next book in series called 'The Scorch Trials'.

p.s. I made myself Salmon saute for dinner! Nothing fancy but I love my salmon with asparagus!
